Anushka Singh is a Bollywood actress. She is a top-paid actress and has received many awards for her acting. Nush clothing is as well her company and she's the spokesperson for a number of brands. Forbes Magazine also featured her. Anushka Sharma was born on 1st May 1988, Ayodhya from Uttar Pradesh. Her parents were Kumar Sharma & Ashima Sharma. Anushka was the daughter of a colonel who retired. She is also a homemaker. Karnesh Sharma, Anushka's elder brother, was an Merchant Navy officer and is now a film producer. Anushka Sharma is a graduate of the Army School Bangalore. Mount Carmel College Bangalore is the place where she graduated with her Bachelor of Arts. Anushka is a graduate with a Master in Arts qualification in economics. Anushka was hoping to be a journalist or model and not a performer. Anushka made the move to Mumbai after she completed her degree and began her studies at Elite Model Management, and was groomed by style consultant Prasad Bidapa. Anushka's debut as a fashion model came in 2017, in which she was a model for Wendell Rodricks at Lakme Fashion Week, and then was chosen by Rodricks to be a model in his Spring Summer 2007 collection. After her modeling debut during Lakme Fashion Week Anushka did numerous campaigns for various brands, her campaigns for the brands' Silk & Shine Whisper Nathella Jewelry and Fiat Palio etc. Anushka began an acting course and started auditioning for films alongside her modelling career. In 2008, Anushka Sharma began her acting career with the film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi with Shah Rukh Khan. The actress took a day off to practice for her test on screen and refused to perform an unplanned version. Later on she was cast in three movies for Yash Raj Films. She played the young wife of an older man in the movie (the same role that Shah Rukh Khan played). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka Sharma starred in the film "Badmash Co that was released in 2010. It included Shahid Kapoor as well as the actor Vir Das. The film was met with mixed praise. Anushka played an Punjabi girl of middle class in a movie called 'Band Baaja Baaraat.' She starred alongside Ranveer. It received a favourable review and was widely regarded as to be a surprise to be a success. In Band Baaja Baaraat, Anushka's three-film contract under Yash Raj Films banner was completed.
